Well organized. Small field of participants kept it very manageable. Well done.
For this course, yes. But I was off my overall PR by 12 mins.
Fast downhill. Some sneaky flats and up hills sporadically but overall very fast.
Several weeks of lengthy runs.
Do it. It's a beautiful course.
None.
Great race, plenty ( I mean PLENTY) of water and aid stops. The only downside I saw was the the super early start and waiting at the start for an hour but I don't think that is something that can be changed.
Yes, I did the half and PR'ed by nearly 5 minutes.
Nothing like I have ran before, in a very good way.
I ran a full 3 weeks ago but only trained on flat runs and at 800 feet above sea level. So altitude bothered me a bit at first.
I flew in from Chicago 12 hours before the race and left 2 hours after I finished. I did enjoy Keystone the night before the race.
ThanksFor putting on a great event.
It was well planned and very beautiful!! We drove 12 hours for this race and it was well worth it! I'll be back next year for sure!!
Yes!! I had a 9 min PR. I did the half in 1:48!! Amazing
It was gorgeous!! Altitude messed with me a little bit but it was still worth it!!! Truly beautiful
I have been putting in about 30 miles a week in. Just street training, some hills.
If your from the south. Give yourself some time to adjust to the altitude and wear sleeves! You hardly sweat up there!
Went hiking, shopping and went out to eat at some nice restaurants
Everything went smoothly.
Yes, I PR'd by approx 2 1/2 minutes.
The course is beautiful. Beautiful views and the weather was perfect.
My training was good. The only thing I would do different is to focus more on down hill runs.
Include downhill runs in your training. Take advantage of the downhill portions of the course.
Live in the area.
Perfect conditions, and a very well run event.
No, but that's ok. Dealing with an injury and just did the best I could.
Scenic
Could have trained more, not much of a runner.
Just to enjoy the day and be proud of the accomplishment. Can't always be just about setting a PR.
We live near by.
It was a really well organized race start to finish. Loved the porta-potty officiating. It made the lines be orderly and fast.
No
Great scenery. Felt like a down hill race most of the way.
Training to work the downhills just as hard as the uphills is important. Train consistently. Some miles 5-6 days is better than no miles.
It is Colorado. Be prepared for cool morning and warming up pretty quickly in the race.
No travel, other than an hour drive from home to the start.
Overall great and fun race.
Thank you to all the volunteers and extra law enforcement staff.
a wonderful day, I feel that the organization is so good
no
the scenery is so amazing, with greens and blue sky
I didn't train a lot
just enjoy
after the race, i felt my leg was not mine
I like it
Two races, the first half met all expectations, the 2nd half cramps in legs got me. Loved the course and organization, once I learn to run hills I'll be back.
No was on course the 1st half.
Very nice the hills in the middle really are the wild card.
Live on Texas coast hard to train on hills, it showed today.
Learn to run down hill, I was doing my foot strike on my heels and both are very sore and probably caused my leg cramps
Enjoyed the scenery., Corpus Christi texas
It was well organized. The uphill at mile 13 was killer. Overall great race.
Yes
Very well designed. The run from Evergreen Pwy to Hwy 74 was. Confusing
Work on the thighs more. Get a better gandle on Altitude running
Have fun run hard
Ate at some great diner's drive in's and dives

Great Rae day! Definitely could have used more volunteers in the parking lot for a quicker experience and more porta johns at the start line!
Yes - by 3 minutes!
Beautiful scenery. Consistent grade for the majority and only a few flat/uphill streaks
Half higdon training program to the tee - 12 weeks - novice 1 but 8th half
