Bio: Eddie, affectionately known by many of his friends as “Formerly Fast Eddie,” is a veteran of 225 marathons (and one 88-mile ultra-marathon), which he has ran over a thirty-two-year period beginning at Portland Oregon in 1984. He completed his longtime goal of finishing one marathon in every United State in October of 2014 at Portland, Maine. He has also run marathons in eight different countries.

Eddie has a personal best time of 2:52 in the marathon at Piscataway New Jersey in 1993, but is also proud that he lowered his current marathon times to 3:27:04 at the 2015 REVEL Canyon City Marathon in Azusa, California, his first Boston Qualifier in 18 years (also his 200th marathon on his 50th birthday.) He has a half marathon PR of 1:18 at Seaside Heights, New Jersey in 1994.
