Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Gonzalo Palafox Rebollar completed the 2025 REVEL Big Bear Half Marathon with an impressive overall time of 1:24:26, maintaining an average pace of 6:26 min/mile. Throughout the race, Gonzalo demonstrated consistent performance, starting with a solid 6:16 split in the first mile and showing improvement by mile two with a 6:09 split. He showed strong strategic pacing by maintaining a steady split pace close to 6:10 for the first half of the race. Particularly noteworthy is his performance during miles six and seven, where he made substantial gains in placement, reaching 6th in his division by mile six. During the second half of the race, Gonzalo faced some slower splits, such as a 7:19 split in the final mile. While there was a slight drop in speed towards the end, Gonzalo still secured an admirable 5th place in the M50-54 division within a highly competitive field.
