Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish in Half Marathon Leticia Gomez, representing team Happy Feet, finished the 2025 REVEL Big Bear Half Marathon with a time of 3:05:34. Starting with a strong pace of 10:25 min/mile in the first mile, Leticia consistently completed the first half with times close to a steady pace before experiencing a slowdown in the second half. Nevertheless, throughout the race, she managed to maintain a commendable effort, finishing 763rd among females and 84th in her division, F35-39. Analyzing her splits, Leticia demonstrated endurance and determination, with her final mile improving to a pace of 14:09 min/mile. Notably, her overall time positioned her 1540th out of 1808 participants. While there is potential to work on maintaining split consistency in the later stages, her ability to pace herself initially was promising.
