Consistent Effort with Room to Rebound Marnae maintained a steady pace throughout much of the 2025 REVEL Big Bear Half Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 1:58:42 and an average pace of 9:03 min/mile. Starting strong, she held a consistent pace between 8:39 to 8:47 min/mile for the first six miles. Her performance in these initial miles secured an average position of 23rd within her division. In the latter stages, Marnae's pace fluctuated, with the 13th mile being her slowest at 11:18 min/mile, which is an opportunity for analysis. Notably, she still improved her overall position to 775th by mile 10. In comparison to her 2019 performance at the same event, there was a decrease in speed by about 30 seconds per mile. Reviewing race strategy, especially in the second half, could provide insights for a return to previous paces. Being part of the SRTT Eastvale team may offer additional support and training adjustments.
