Consistent Progression and Strong Finish in Half Marathon Cooper Whittington demonstrated excellent pacing consistency at the 2025 REVEL Big Bear Half Marathon. Starting with a solid 5:48-minute mile, Cooper steadily moved up in the ranks from 61st place overall to finishing 22nd out of 1808 participants. His overall elapsed time was 1:16:08, with a strong average pace of 5:48 min/mile, highlighting his efficient energy management over the 13.1 miles. Notable performances include his ability to maintain a sub-6:00 pace throughout, and a particularly sharp split during the 7th mile, finishing in 5:27. Finishing 4th in his age division of M19-24, Cooper showed marked improvement over last year's race, where he placed 68th overall. A consistent year-over-year progress was evident, and focusing on early race pacing and strategic mid-race surges will further enhance his performance in future races.
