  2. Describe your race day.

    the most memorable thing - painful quads during the race.

  3. Did you PR?

    Yes, I did PR on this course. My prior half marathon PR was 7:19min/mile at Fontana Days. I did 7:08min/mi on this course.

  4. How would you describe the course?

    --a very beautiful course!!!
    --a very fast course (1. a steep down hill 2. very little turns so very easy to run tangent; per my garmin, I ran 13.13miles.)
    --my only complaint is that there was no real safe place to warm up at the starting line. One almost has to start the race cold.

  5. What advice would you give future runners?

    This is a deceptively steep down hill, although it may not visually appear that way. Practice running down on an actual hill with at least steeper than -3% grade at a race pace. Downhill training with a down hill feature on a treadmill ( -3% grade) or doing an easy run on an actual down hill did help prepare my quadriceps for this course.
