  1. Overall Rating

    5/5 Stars

  2. Describe your race day.

Bus loading was confusing but found the nice tour buses & enjoyed the first class ride to the start. Warmer than Azusa, plenty of toilets. No lighted seating area. First 12 miles > 5000 ft elevation which was challenging since I live at sea level. Fortunately NO hills second half, giving me a negative split & goal achieved! Next year I’d suggest having the expo indoors & bring some lights for the amphitheater. Otherwise another great Revel race!

  3. Did you PR?

No but met my goal of sub 3:20

  4. How would you describe the course?

Scenic, serious altitude ( first 12 miles >5000 feet. Safe, great traffic control

  5. Tell us about your training.

    I’ve run a marathon every 3-5 weeks for the last 20 years. I run 4 days/week 14-16 miles & bike 60 miles the other 3 days.

  6. What advice would you give future runners?

Train for downhill. Train at altitude if U can. Bring plenty of warm clothes to the start.

  7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Met cousins for dinner in Claremont. Drove up from San Diego in a driving rainSat Drive home was smuch more pleasant
