This is a great course, though Big Cottonwood is much prettier in my opinion. It is truly all downhill, though mile 12 - 12.5 seemed to be flat/slightly uphill. This was my third Revel event (2 Big Cottonwoods, 1st Big Bear), and it was well organized as always. Our bus broke down going up the canyon, but we were able to board a new one and still make it to the start with enough time to use the porta potty and drop off bags, though it did cut it a little close. Expo was small but had all of the merch I was looking for. I liked the medal and I love that Revel prints out your race results on nice paper at the finish. Cons: t-shirt felt cheaply made this year, they changed the location of the half marathon bus loading after the marathon was cancelled (due to mudslides a month before the race) which meant our hotel was now a 15 minute walk instead of a 7 minute walk to the bus (which matters at 3:30 in the morning), everything at the finish was only showing gun time and not chip time (this was quickly fixed, but no one wants to run a half marathon and see their official time is several minutes off from their watch) Cons really weren't that bad though, so I recommend it!
