• Half Marathon

  The REVEL Mt Diablo half marathon offers runners an incredibly fast and scenic course through Mt Diablo State Park. This exclusive half marathon drops 3,664 feet in elevation and is surrounded by panoramic views of the Bay Area. The half marathon begins at Mt Diablo Summit with the San Francisco skyline in the west and Sierra Nevada mountains in the east, then runs entirely down Summit Rd and North Gate Rd for 11 miles to the park entrance. Upon exiting Mt Diablo State Park, the course continues along North Gate Rd through the charming city of Walnut Creek for 1.25 miles then turns right at Oak Grove Rd. Runners will travel north on Oak Grove Rd for .5 mile, turn right onto Arbolado Dr, and run .35 to reach the finish line at Arbolado Park.
