Consistent Early Splits, Challenge in Later Miles Samantha Turner maintained a consistent pace in the early part of the REVEL White Mountains Marathon with her first few miles showing a steady pace around 9:24 to 9:22 min/mile. This consistency placed her well, especially in her F30-34 division, where she started strong with a position of 37th place for the initial distances. The initial splits also reflect a commendable pacing strategy. As the race progressed, Samantha's pace saw a gradual increase, reflected in the later splits where her average pace moved to about 10:06 min/mile from mile 7 onwards. The final overall time was 5:07:32 with an average pace of 11:44 min/mile. She finished in 59th place in her age division among 475 female participants. For future races, concentrating on pace in the latter half could be beneficial. Overall, Samantha showed perseverance and dedication throughout the race.
