Consistent Early Splits, Room for Improvement in the Latter Half Daniel demonstrated a strong performance in the initial stages of the 2025 REVEL White Mountains Marathon. Notably, he started with consistent pacing, clocking a 9:27 min/mile in the first mile, progressing to a 9:11 min/mile pace by the fourth mile. His positioning fluctuated somewhat, but he managed to maintain his rank within the top third of his division up until the halfway point of the marathon. In the second half, Daniel's pace began to slow. He concluded with an elapsed time of 4:49:49, averaging an 11:03 min/mile pace. While his early splits were consistent, with a noticeable increase in pace by mile 4, maintaining this momentum proved challenging. Focusing on sustaining pace beyond the midpoint could be beneficial. Nonetheless, a commendable completion of the marathon with strong foundational splits.
