Description

  • Marathon

The REVEL Wasatch Limited Edition marathon course offers the best of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, including breathtaking views of the forests and peaks high atop the mountains and the charm of the quaint mountain communities of the Wasatch Back. Runners will enjoy the fresh scent of towering pines, glimpses of mountain wildlife, and the babbling of small creeks. If that were not enough, the course is downhill on paved streets and is a Boston Marathon qualifier!

The marathon begins 2.5 miles southeast of Daniels Summit near Strawberry Reservoir. The first 2.5 miles contain the only significant elevation gain on the entire course as runners make their way up Highway 40 to the summit at Daniels Pass. After cresting the summit, it is a glorious downhill drop all the way to the finish line.

Shortly after mile 16 the course enters the small community of Daniel and treats runners to a tour of the laid-back country homes, all the while continuing its downhill slope. Runners eventually make their way to the town of Charleston where they will be able to spread out and relax at the finish venue park.

  • Half Marathon

The REVEL Wasatch Limited Edition half marathon course offers the best of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, including breathtaking views of the forests and peaks high atop the mountains and the charm of the quaint mountain communities of the Wasatch Back. The half marathon begins 10 miles northwest of Daniels Summit near Boomer Canyon. Right out of the gate runners will enjoy an incredibly comfortable and fast downhill slope as they make their way down Highway 40 towards Heber.

Shortly after mile 3 the course enters the small community of Daniel and treats runners to a tour of the laid-back country homes, all the while continuing its downhill slope. Runners eventually make their way to the town of Charleston where they will be able to spread out and relax at the finish venue park.
