I had a wonderful time running the REVEL Rockies on August 17, which is my birthday. I turned 51 that day, and was also my 51st all time marathon. There was no better way to celebrate a birthday in my opinion. This had to be the most scenic course I've ever run a marathon on, those views were spectacular and breathtaking. I'm recovering from a knee injury, no BQ for me on this one. But to me, it was a celebration, of healthy living and happiness. I already ran Boston this past April and that was the most amazing experience of my life. I was so happy to hear about how many of the runners BQ at this marathon and will be able to experience what I experienced in Boston. I will run this marathon again next year and be 100%.
