    Partnering Hotels

    Health & Lifestyle Expo

The Health & Lifestyle Expo will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM at the Rio Hotel & Casino in the Amazon Ballroom. REVEL's Online Coach, Paul Carmona will speak at 10:45 AM and 1:30 PM in the Seminar Area.

A photo ID is required to pick up your race bag. We will allow individuals to pick up someone else's bag, but will require a digital or hardcopy of the person's ID and a written note authorizing them to do so.

If you will be arriving after the expo closes or are unable to attend, you may choose to have your race packet mailed to you for an additional fee. Please note: mailed packet is not available for registrations made within three weeks of race day. This option may be selected during registration. There is NO race day packet pick-up. All participants must either pick up their packet at the Health & Lifestyle Expo or have their packet mailed to them.

    Parking & Busing

REVEL Mt Charleston is a point-to-point course, and as such we will bus you from the finish line to the start line. The cost of busing is included in your entry fees. You do not need to reserve a spot on the bus, as your bib is your ticket to ride. ALL PARTICIPANTS must take a bus to the start lines (you may not park at or be dropped off at the start lines).

Full Marathon buses will load and depart from 3:15 AM-4:15 AM. Half Marathon buses will load and depart from 3:45 AM-4:45 AM. Please make sure that you are on time and that you get on the right bus! For additional details on the parking layout and address, refer to the Parking and Busing/Finish Area Map below.

An option for people staying on the Las Vegas Strip is to purchase a bus ticket that picks up on the Strip at the Rio Las Vegas and takes you directly to the start line. A return bus will depart every 30 minutes from the finish line to take you back to the Strip. Purchase your ticket here.

    Drop Bags

You will receive a race bag when you pick up your packet at the expo. This bag is for you to take to the starting areas. A number that matches your race bib will be put on the outside of your race bag. This is to identify your bag at the finish area after the race, and you will need your bib to prove ownership of your bag when you pick it up. Please carry any belongings to the starting area in this bag, as opposed to any other personal bags, which cannot be identified by your race number. Bags must be placed in the bag trucks at the starting areas at least 15 minutes prior to the race start.

Please ensure your bag is secured tightly and do NOT place any valuable items in your bag. REVEL Mt Charleston will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. Any personal items left at aid stations will be donated to charity.

    Start & Finish Areas

    Start Areas

The Half Marathon will begin approximately 8 miles up Kyle Canyon near the Twilight Zone recreation area, and the Full Marathon will begin at the very top of Kyle Canyon near the Mt Charleston Lodge.

Porta-potties, water, electrolyte drinks, basic first aid items, and last-minute instructions will be provided at the starting areas. While we will provide gloves and mylar blankets, we highly recommend that you come prepared for cold temperatures at the start line by layering and then shedding your layers to put in your drop bag just before the race begins.

Finish Line Festival presented by Rio Las Vegas

The finish line is located at the Viper Lacross Fields Family Sports Complex in Las Vegas. The Finish Line Festival presented by Rio Las Vegas will be packed with food, massage, vendor booths, and more. For a closer look at the finish area layout, refer to the "Parking and Busing/Finish Area Map" under the Parking & Busing section above.

    Timing & Bibs

    Timing

The races will be chip-timed using timing tags adhered to the back of your bib. Your time will begin when you cross the starting line, not at the start gun, and will stop when you cross the finish line. Overall prize winners (top 3 in each race) will be determined by gun time, not chip time. Please do not tamper with the timing chips, as they cannot be replaced once linked to your bib number.

    Bibs

Because the timing tag is adhered to the back of your race bib, it is important that you do not cover your bib with clothing or other objects that may interfere with the tag reader when you are crossing the start and finish lines. Furthermore, in order to ensure that race volunteers, officials, and photographers can properly identify you, you must wear your bib on the front of your person in an unobstructed position. If the photographers along the course cannot see your bib number, we will have no way to get your photos to you.

    Aid Stations

Aid stations will be located approximately every two miles along the courses. All aid stations will be supplied with Gatorade, water, porta-potties, and basic first aid supplies. Additionally, various aid stations will be supplied with doTERRA Deep Blue, GU Energy Gels in Vanilla Bean (caffeinated), Chocolate Outrage (caffeinated), Strawberry Banana (non-caffinated), and Raspberry Lemonade (non-caffeinated), fruit, and medical personnel.

    Medical Assistance

Each aid station will be supplied with a first-aid kit that will include items such as bandages, moleskin, vaseline, anti-inflammatories, etc. If you are in need of any of these items, simply stop and ask the volunteers at the aid station and they will be able to help you.

In addition to the first-aid kits, various aid stations will be staffed by medical volunteers and equipped with a medical tent and cots. See the Aid Stations section for more details.

Multiple sag wagons and ambulances will be roaming the course as well to respond to any emergencies and transport runners who cannot continue to the finish line. A full-service medical tent will also be at the finish line.

    Pacing & Time Limits

    Time Limits

Because the roads used for the race must be re-opened for normal traffic patterns, we are required to set course time limits that must be strictly adhered to. The course time limit for the full marathon is based on a 15:00 minute per mile pace, which is a light jog. This equates to a 6:33 marathon. The time limit for the half marathon is based on a 30:00 minute per mile pace, which is a leisurely walking pace. This equates to a 6:30 half marathon. Both races start at 6:00 AM, and participants will need to finish by 12:33 PM.

Those who are unable to maintain the required pace must consent to be picked up by an escort vehicle and escorted to the finish venue, where they will still be allowed to receive a medal.

Based on the USATF certification standards the course is measured on tangents or SPR-Shortest Possible Route. Therefore if you run on the inside or outside line the entire length of the race your GPS may reflect a distance slightly greater than 13.1 or 26.2.

    Pacers

Pacers will be running both the marathon and half marathon to lead everyone to a fast time.

The full marathon will include pacers at various Boston-qualifying paces, including:

    • 2:45 (6:18/Mile pace)
    • 2:50 (6:29/Mile pace)
    • 2:55 (6:40/Mile pace)
    • 3:05 (7:03/Mile pace)
    • 3:10 (7:15/Mile pace)
    • 3:15 (7:26/Mile pace)
    • 3:20 (7:37Mile pace)
    • 3:25 (7:49/Mile pace)
    • 3:35 (8:12/Mile pace)
    • 3:40 (8:23/Mile pace)
    • 3:50 (8:46/Mile pace)
    • 3:55 (8:58/Mile pace)
    • 4:10 (9:32/Mile pace)
    • 4:35 (10:29/Mile pace)
    • 4:50 (11:04/Mile pace)
    • 5:05 (11:38/Mile pace)

    • 2:45 (12:36/mile pace)
    • 3:00 (13:45/mile pace)
    • 3:30 (16:02/mile pace)

    Weather

Although we cannot predict the weather, we can provide some historical weather averages for the area on the date of the race:

    • Average Low: 53 F
    • Average High: 75 F

Please remember that these are average temperatures for Las Vegas, NV, and that temperatures will be considerably cooler in the morning at the start lines. Average temperatures on Mt Charleston can be between 25 and 30 degrees cooler than Las Vegas temperatures. While we will provide gloves and mylar blankets, we highly recommend that you come prepared for cold temperatures at the start line by layering and then shedding your layers to put in your drop bag just before the race begins.

    Spectator Locations

Because of special traffic patterns in Kyle Canyon, spectators will not be allowed on Kyle Canyon Rd (the first 21 miles of the marathon and the first 8 miles of the half marathon). We suggest that spectators stake out an area at or near the finish venue to cheer on their runners.

There is no parking at the Finish Line. Everyone (including spectators) must park at the designated race parking lots and take the free shuttle to the finish line.

Confetti cannons are NOT permitted. Any use will result in significant fines and removal from the event.
