Steady Consistency with a Pace Decline in the Second Half Nicole Sanovich, representing "Horrific Helgas," completed the 2025 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon with a time of 3:23:18. In comparison to her previous year’s performance, there’s been an increase in her time by 27 minutes and 37 seconds. Her average pace was 15:31 min/mile for this race, compared to 13:24 min/mile last year. Throughout the race, there were fluctuations in pace. She began with a strong 12:24 min/mile but saw her pace diminish in the later stages, particularly in the last mile where her pace dropped to 20:50 min/mile. While she maintained fairly consistent placements in her division, there was a noticeable decline in her speed. Focusing on maintaining pace in the latter half may help improve overall performance in future events. Good effort on completing another half marathon!
