Consistent Pacing with Strategic Progression Alicia Rummings completed the 2025 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon with an overall time of 3:09:16, maintaining an average pace of 14:26 min/mile. Her performance showcased consistent effort across the splits, with the fastest split occurring during the first mile at 12:57 min/mile. Although she experienced a pace decrease in the latter miles, including a 17:12 min/mile in mile 13, her placement improved considerably between some segments despite the slowing pace. Position-wise, Alicia ended 3465th out of 3972 participants overall, demonstrating a strong presence in the large field. Her results within her age division, F35-39, also reflected a stable mid-range performance, placing 206th. The consistency observed in placing in and around the 190s for her division is a positive takeaway. Focusing on maintaining her initial pace throughout future races could result in improved overall performance. Her representation of the Running Raptors team certainly added a competitive edge.
