Despite a slight slow down in the second mile, she quickly made progress by maintaining a steady pace in the 8:10–8:20 min/mile range. Her most notable improvements were during miles 4 through 7, with her fastest split of 7:45 min/mile recorded at miles 4 and 5. This strong middle section helped improve her standing, demonstrating her ability to maintain intensity over time. Although there was a minor drop in speed in the later stages, the overall race performance shows promise. Savanna finished with an overall time of 1:49:56, achieving an average pace of 8:23 min/mile, and placed 89th in her division of females aged 25-29.
