Sara achieved some of her fastest splits in the middle of the race, recording 8:52 min/mile at the third mile. She held steady through the midway point, as reflected in her placement and pacing consistency. Towards the latter part of the race, the pace slowed slightly, particularly from mile 9, where the split time was 11:01 min/mile. Sara finished ahead of 55% of all participants, with a strong placement of 112th in her age division among 3972 participants.
