Steady Progression with a Strong Finish Taylor maintained an even pace throughout the race with noticeable improvement as the half marathon progressed. Starting with a 12:15 min/mile in the first mile, their pace consistently improved, closing the race with a 10:42 min/mile in the final mile. Overall, they finished the race with an average pace of 11:40 min/mile, covering the total distance of 13.1 miles in 2:32:53. Their performance in the division F30-34 saw them begin in 256th place, eventually improving to 242nd by the conclusion of the race. Within their gender category, Taylor improved steadily, charting at 1,843rd at the first mile and finishing 1,795th. Encouragingly, each mile gained momentum, particularly in the latter half where mile times consistently dropped below 12 minutes. Maintaining this late-race surge would be beneficial in future races to continue improving performance.
