Starting with a first-mile pace of 9:19 min/mile, she gradually improved her speed, marking her fastest performance between miles three and five with an impressive split pace under 9:00 min/mile. Notably, during mile four, she achieved her quickest split time of 8:37 min/mile, showcasing her ability to push her limits effectively. Her overall elapsed time was 2:00:09, with an average pace of 9:10 min/mile. Although there was a slight slowdown between miles 10 and 12, Emma managed to finish strong, rebounding in placement to 1478 overall during mile 12 before completing the race.
