Consistent Performance and Strong Division Placement Kristin maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 REVEL Big Cottonwood Marathon. Starting with a strong initial mile at 7:31 min/mile, she settled into a steady rhythm around the 7:55 to 8:08 min/mile range. Her 6th mile was impressive with a quick split of 7:33, one of her fastest. Notably, she placed 1st in her division at the 9-mile mark. Her average pace for the race was 8:20 min/mile. Kristin secured 3rd place in the F50-54 division, an outstanding achievement. A slight slowdown was seen in the final stretch, with longer splits in the 8:39 to 10:36 min/mile range, but she remained competitive, finishing in 3:38:41. Evaluating pacing strategies for the latter part of her races could enhance her finish time. Excellent overall effort, and continuing training consistency will further bolster her performances.
