Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Mark Kimball achieved a commendable performance at the 2025 REVEL Big Cottonwood Half Marathon. Throughout the 13.1-mile course, Mark maintained a consistent and impressive pace, averaging 6:45 min/mile, resulting in a finish time of 1:28:26. Despite the evolving demands of the race, Mark demonstrated strong consistency, highlighted by his ability to maintain his pace in the range of 6:36 to 6:52 min/mile for the majority of the event. Mark’s ability to slightly increase his speed from mile 3 to mile 5 deserves recognition, with splits notably decreasing from 6:49 min/mile to an impressive 6:37 min/mile. However, as the race progressed, his pace showed a slight decline around mile 11, moving from 6:44 min/mile to 7:12 min/mile by mile 13.
