  2. Describe your race day.

What an awesome event! I was one of the two crankchair riders. Except for being stopped twice by police officers who weren't expecting me, it was a fabulous, challenging ride. There was a slight snafu with cone placement at the finish, but nothing could detract from the great course and some of the best race personnel and volunteers I have encountered in any event. Kudos for a job well done!

  3. Did you PR?

This was my first crankchair marathon after having been blessed to be able to run many in years gone by. So, yes, a PR and one likely to stand for a long time.

  4. How would you describe the course?

    Beautiful. Well marked. Simply awesome.

  5. Tell us about your training.

For crankchair the challenge is in handling curves at high speeds and being able to smoothly transition to cranking when needed/possible.

  6. What advice would you give future runners?

    Just DO IT!

  7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

I live in Centennial so this was just a great excuse to get up in the mountains and do something fun.
