  1. Overall Rating

    5/5 Stars

  2. Describe your race day.

I loved the view running next to the creek and having the race all downhill.

  3. Did you PR?

    No

  4. How would you describe the course?

Breathtaking, I was nervous that the slope would be steeper, I was pleasantly surprised.

  5. Tell us about your training.

I live in a very flat area of Texas; it was hard to find long distances to train going downhill. I may have come up a week early and done a few runs in the mountains to get acclimated.

  6. What advice would you give future runners?

Make sure to bring warm throw away clothes to wear before the race while you wait to start.

  7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

We went to the Coors Brewery Tour, The Denver Zoo, The Denver Mint, and went white water rafting.

I would definitely do a Revel Race again. I loved that I never felt crowded while running; this was a smaller race then the Rock and Roll Marathons I've run in the past, and it was extremely well organized. I would have liked to be able to sit down in the beer area after the race or been able to sit on the Rock wall across the way, but that was a minor thing. Overall I was impressed! Loved the big medal, the cool design for the shirt ( I got the mens), the socks/gloves, but most of all the free pictures! The race was so beautiful, I can't wait to see the pictures. There were so many special touches, even the volunteers handing out water and cheering for you using your name. This was my first Revel Race, thanks for making it great!
