Describe your race day.

My day was great from the start to the finish. Since I was from out of town I stayed at the host hotel Hampton Inn. The bus to the start from the hotel was perfect. God makes such beauty, the course was breathe taking. the weather was great and to enjoy the course. A thank you to the 2:30 pacer and the people around him who kept me entertained the first half of the course. I felt so good I beat 2:30
Did you PR?

No , but I hadn't run under 2:30 for several races.
How would you describe the course?

It was good but I kept moving from side to side because of uneven curves. But it was not bad. The scenery was worth it all!
Tell us about your training.

We have a few mountains trails that I practiced up and down. But it's only 5 miles If any advice maybe find a longer down hill trail.
What advice would you give future runners?

Stay at host hotel , enjoying the Cow Eatery check out the local breweries,( my husband doesn't run but enjoys the beers) lol
What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

Shopping of course. Went to red rock Heading to pikes pick. I drove from El Paso TX
