A slight dip in pace was noted between miles 6 and 12, where the pace varied from 9:59 to 12:59 min/mile. Her strongest mile was mile 7, completed at a pace of 9:40 min/mile. Overall, Kristen completed the Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 2:18:25, yielding an average pace of 10:34 min/mile. She placed 22nd in her age division. Focusing on maintaining a more consistent pace throughout the race might help her improve her overall time in future races. Keeping an eye on the pacing from mile 6 onwards could provide significant gains.
