His performance secured him a finishing time of 2:55:52, placing him overall at 204 out of 2,690 participants, and 31st in his division, M40-44. Notably, he improved from his initial 7:12 min/mile in the first mile to a much more efficient 6:40 min/mile over the subsequent miles.
