Consistent Strides Lead to Strong Finish Esteban Lopez maintained an impressive overall pace of 9:12 min/mile in the 2025 REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon, completing the race in 4:01:17. Notably, his performance improved as the race progressed, with several negative splits. During the final mile, he achieved his fastest split of 8:48 min/mile, contributing to a leap forward in placement. Lopez showed consistency in the latter half, particularly from mile 16 onwards, where his pace consistently hovered around 9 min/mile or below. Despite a slower split at mile 6, he recovered well to finish strong, securing 1041st place among males out of 2690 participants and ranking 153rd in his division. Maintaining the determination to quicken his pace towards the end significantly contributed to his position.
