Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Xinlei Huang showcased impressive consistency in his marathon performance with an overall time of 2:52:40, maintaining an average pace of 6:35 minutes per mile. Starting at a pace of 7:07 in the first mile, Xinlei quickly picked up speed, posting his fastest split of 6:10 at mile seven. Consistency in pacing was evident as he locked in a steady pace around the 6:31–6:32 range for a majority of the race, reflecting strategic pacing and endurance. Xinlei's perseverance paid off, finishing 139th out of 2,690 participants, and doing particularly well within his age division, placing 36th in the Male 30-34 category. In the final stretch, he demonstrated strength by slightly speeding up to a 6:35 pace, securing a commendable position. Although there was some deceleration in the later miles, his ability to generally maintain a consistent pace is noteworthy. Continued focus on pacing could further enhance future performances.
