Consistent Improvement with a Late Slowdown Xiaoqi Yang, running for the Misty Mountain Runners, demonstrated consistent pacing throughout most of the 2025 REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon, finishing in 4:13:10 with an average pace of 9:39 min/mile. Notably, her pace improved progressively in the early miles. Her fastest split came at mile 16 with an 8:18 min/mile pace, placing her 659th in gender ranking at that point. Her performance remained relatively stable, gradually moving her up in placement. In the latter part of the race, Xiaoqi's pace slowed, particularly visible from mile 22 onward with mile 22 and 23 being the slowest at 15:19 and 15:16 min/mile splits. However, she managed to maintain a strong finish, completing the marathon 736th among women and 69th in her 25-29 age division. For future races, focusing on maintaining the improved pace from earlier miles could yield even better results. Great job, Xiaoqi.
