Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Fengling maintained an impressive pace throughout the marathon, showcasing a strong and steady performance. Her overall time was 3:54:51, translating to an average pace of 8:57 min/mile, which remains consistent with her fastest splits ranging between 8:29 to 8:32 min/mile. A notable speed increase is observed midway from mile 6 (8:14 min/mile) to mile 10 (8:14 min/mile), highlighting a strategic acceleration during the race. A minor slowdown occurred during the latter stages, with split paces increasing slightly, peaking at 14:38 min/mile in mile 24. Despite this, Fengling finished strong, maintaining a remarkable focus and discipline. Her placement was 590th among female participants, and she ranked 30th in her division (F55-59) among 2690 participants.
