She completed the 13.1-mile course with an elapsed time of 2:03:19, achieving an overall pace of 9:24 min/mile. Notably, her initial pace started strong with 8:54 min/mile and varied slightly throughout the race, maintaining an average below 10:00 min/mile for the majority of the distance. Her ranking within the Female 35-39 division improved to 52nd out of the 1608 total participants. Desiree consistently shifted placement, particularly excelling in the 4th mile with an efficient pace of 8:58 min/mile.
