Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Sungman Yun maintained a remarkably consistent performance throughout the 2025 REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon. Starting with an initial pace of 8:30 min/mile, he quickly picked up speed, maintaining a pace below 8 minutes per mile in several middle segments. The most notable were between miles 2 and 4, where his pacing ranged from 7:12 to 7:34 min/mile. His ability to manage his pace and maintain a positive progression in the middle sections allowed him to rank consistently in his division, moving up several places in both gender and age category as the race progressed. In the latter stages, Sungman managed to hold onto an overall pace of 7:44 min/mile. Although there was a slight slowdown between miles 23 and 25, he effectively adjusted his strategy, closing strong with a time of 3:22:39. Advancing to 29th in his division from an initial position of 41, Sungman demonstrated effective pacing and adaptability.
