Consistently Strong Performance with a Sprint Finish Karen maintained a consistent pace throughout the marathon, finishing with an overall time of 3:51:15 and an impressive average pace of 8:49 min/mile. Her splits reveal a strong ability to maintain pace, with notable sprints in the final stages. Particularly commendable was her final two miles, where she accelerated her pace, closing the event with a remarkable final split of 7:37 min/mile. Throughout the race, Karen steadily improved her position in the F55-59 division, moving from 44th to 24th. A small challenge was observed in Miles 19 and 21, where the pace briefly increased. However, Karen effectively countered this with stronger splits in the subsequent miles. These consistent efforts led to an overall placement in the top 22% of participants and the top 10% of her division.
