Consistent Speed with Strategic Pacing Kimberly demonstrated strong pacing throughout the race, starting with a solid initial pace of 7:48 min/mile, and quickly increasing her speed with mile splits like 6:44 min/mile at the third mile. Her 4th-mile split of 6:33 min/mile marked her fastest pace, illustrating her capability to push harder in the early stages. Despite experiencing some fluctuation in pace, especially noticeable between miles 15 to 20, she managed to maintain a commendable overall pace of 7:38 min/mile for the entire marathon. The marathon performance positioned Kimberly 757th overall out of 2690 participants and 167th among female competitors. Within her division, Females aged 35-39, she finished 37th. While her pacing began to slow slightly toward the latter part of the race, closing with an 8:15 min/mile split, she maintained her form and consistency.
