Remarkable Progression at the Marathon Justin Cannon delivered a commendable performance at the 2025 REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon. He completed the race in 2:39:09, maintaining an impressive average pace of 6:04 min/mile. Notably, Justin showed strong dominance in his M30-34 division initially, holding 1st place for the first 13 miles. His most vigorous split was between miles 3 and 4, clocking in at a swift 5:08 per mile. He maintained a solid top-10 position longer than most competitors until mile 18, where his pace began to decelerate gradually. While the latter stages of the marathon saw a drop in pacing, with a slower 7:28 min/mile in his 25th mile, Justin’s overall improvement from his 2024 marathon time of 4:34:58 was substantial. Currently affiliated with Team Splinters, his performance and pace improvements highlight significant strides in race strategy and conditioning.
