Her most impressive stretch occurred in the later stages, where she picked up pace, notably at mile 16 with a split time of 9:24. This demonstrated her ability to maintain energy and push through fatigue, offering a strong finish in her marathon endeavor. Starting with a 10:33 min/mile pace, Courtney gradually settled into a steady rhythm for the majority of the race. Notably, her position in her gender division fluctuated slightly, but she maintained her rank within the top 100 of her age group.
