Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Nancy Kui demonstrated consistency throughout the REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon, maintaining an overall pace of 9:58 min/mile. This even pacing is evidenced by her ability to hold a steady cadence, particularly from miles 6 to 21. Nancy's strategy of maintaining a sub-10-minute mile pace in these early segments helped her build a strong foundation for the latter stages of the race. Impressively, she achieved her fastest splits in miles 21 and 22, clocking in at 9:11 and 9:14 min/mile, respectively. Towards the latter part of the race, there was a slight increase in split times, with the pace slightly dropping beyond mile 23. However, Nancy's performance overall was commendable, placing 94th in her division and 790th among female participants. Moving forward, maintaining the early pace in the final segments could be an area to explore, focusing on prolonging her strong finishes, perhaps through interval training or longer tempo runs.
