Kicking off with an initial pace of 7:36 min/mile, she demonstrated a consistent strategy, maintaining a pace under 7:30 for the first three splits. Notably, her fastest split was at the third mile, clocking in at a swift 7:08 min/mile, showcasing her capability to push her limits. This early momentum secured her a solid third-place standing in her division from the fourth mile onwards. Her final race time was an impressive 1:41:50. As the race progressed, Jenessa experienced a gradual increase in her pace, peaking with a split of 9:16 min/mile between miles 10 and 11.
