Consistent Pace and Strategic Progression Highlight Whitney's Performance Whitney maintained a steady rhythm throughout the half marathon with splits starting at 10:06 min/mile and settling into an impressive mid-race improvement. Splits five and seven were notable at 9:15 min/mile and 8:59 min/mile, respectively, showing her capability to push the pace when needed. Her overall elapsed pace was 10:08 min/mile, and she worked her way to finish with an elapsed time of 2:12:55. Throughout the race, Whitney consistently gained ground on her competition, steadily improving her placement as the miles advanced. Particularly noteworthy were miles four to five, where her pace quickened and her positioning improved. In her division (F35-39), she completed with a commendable 67th placement out of 1608 total participants.
