Consistent Start with Endurance Challenge in the Later Stages Ash Jones demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the initial stages of the 2026 REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon, with a noticeable improvement in pace between miles 2 and 4, dropping from an initial 10:45 min/mile to 9:50 min/mile. Between miles 5 and 10, Ash held a steady performance, maintaining a pace range of 9:54 to 10:11 min/mile. In the latter half, there was a marked slowdown post mile 17, with splits stretching beyond 12:00 min/mile by mile 18. A significant effort was displayed toward maintaining placement within the division, ultimately finishing with an overall time of 4:52:12. Ash's effort placed her in 47th within her F35-39 division, showcasing solid competition over a demanding distance. Enhancing endurance in the latter sections could improve overall performance.
