Significant Pace Improvement at REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon Ryley Balch showed remarkable progression in this year's REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon, completing the course in 2:50:34 with an average pace of 6:30 min/mile. Compared to last year's performance of 3:11:25 with a pace of 7:18 min/mile, Ryley improved his overall time by more than 20 minutes. Notably, Ryley's fastest split at mile 5 recorded a pace of 4:27 min/mile, underscoring impressive speed capability. Ryley's race strategy reflected consistency, maintaining a pace close to the average throughout most of the race. Splits between miles 15 to 19, where he maintained sub 6:10 min/mile, highlighted his strengthened endurance. Though the latter part of the marathon saw slightly slower split times, it remains clear from his performance that Ryley has made substantial strides forward. Continuing to focus on the latter parts of the race could yield even more impressive results in future competitions. Well done on this commendable effort!
