Consistent Pacing with Strategic Position Gains Celia Caballero showcased a well-managed performance at the 2026 REVEL Mt Charleston Half Marathon. Starting with a strong pace of 7:48 per mile, she maintained consistent pacing throughout. Her fourth mile was notably quick, clocking in at 7:22 per mile, which helped her maintain position in her division. Throughout the race, Celia effectively improved her placement, moving from 221st position overall at mile 1 to 170th by mile 10. A highlight of Celias race was her ability to make strategic gains in placing, particularly during the latter stages, where she gained placing even with slight pacing slowdowns. Ending with an overall time of 1:45:11, Celia placed solidly in the F35-39 division and was among the top 63 females out of a total of 1542 participants. Future efforts may focus on sustaining pace during the later miles to further enhance overall time and placement.
