Consistent Effort with Strategic Recovery Madison maintained a strong opening pace, clocking 11:57 in the first mile and holding her position within her age division. Notably, between miles 3 and 4, her pace slowed from 12:19 to 13:28 min/mile, and her position shifted slightly, suggesting a methodical strategy to conserve energy. The fifth mile was the slowest at 16:33 min/mile, but she demonstrated resilience by recovering quickly with an improved pace of 15:30 min/mile in the following mile. In the latter half, Madison demonstrated strategic pacing with times consistently around 14-minute miles. Her performance was steady, with noticeable improvement in the final mile where she finished stronger at 13:19 min/mile.
