Steady Progress and Strong Finish Heather Dunne demonstrated significant improvement and consistent pacing throughout the 2026 REVEL Mt Charleston Half Marathon. Starting with a slightly conservative pace of 9:43 min/mile in the first mile, she progressively quickened her tempo with a split pace of 8:32 min/mile by mile 4. Her overall pace reached 9:13 min/mile, slashing over a minute and a half per mile compared to her previous years performance in the same event. Heather moved effectively through the field, climbing from 723rd place overall in the opening mile to 459th by the finish. Impressively, she completed the half marathon in 2:00:54, almost twenty minutes faster than her previous time. Her finish placed her 194th among females and 27th in the F40-44 division, showing marked improvement in these categories as well.
