Consistent Early Pace with Room for Strong Finish Silvia Lebaron demonstrated consistent pacing throughout the 2026 REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile distance in 4:44:30. She began strong, starting with a 10:26 min/mile pace for the first mile, quickly shifting to a sub-10:00 pace for the subsequent miles. Remarkably, Silvia showed increased speed in the seventh mile, clocking in at an impressive 8:44 min/mile. Her overall pacing strategy kept her well-placed, with a consistent position in her division among females aged 40-44. Towards the latter part of the race, Silvia's pace understandably slowed, with the final miles registering over 12:00 min/mile. Despite the decrease in pace, she finished strong, especially in mile 24 where she significantly improved her place overall against her peers. This performance indicates a solid base with potential for pacing adjustments in the latter stages of future races to better maintain early speed.
