Consistent Pacing with Strategic Finish Valerie Chang participated in the 2026 REVEL Mt Charleston Half Marathon and maintained a consistent overall pace of 11:42 min/mile. Her total time was 2:33:25 across 13.1 miles. Noteworthy is her initial mile pace of 9:45 min/mile, possibly indicating a strong start. She navigated through the divisions, finishing 70th in the F40-44 category out of a total 1542 participants. In the latter parts of the race, Valerie's pace increased slightly, particularly in the 11th mile, which recorded a time of 13:44. Despite this, she managed to successfully regain a quicker pace towards the end. She placed 509th in her gender and 930th overall. Continuing to work on maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race could enhance future performances.
