Throughout the race, Shawn maintained an average pace of 10:07 min/mile. Highlights of his split times include a strong start with a 8:56 min/mile at the first mile, and a resilient finish by regaining momentum in the last segments despite the average pace dropping slightly. Notably, Shawn's quickest mile was the 6th, clocking in at 8:30. Despite some fluctuation in pace, particularly between miles 11 and 13 where the split times increased to over 12 minutes per mile, Shawn showed an ability to remain in the top third of the M35-39 division upon completion.
