  2. Describe your race day.

    The scenery was beautiful and varied as we ran down the mountain.

  3. Did you PR?

    Yes, I made a PR, exceeding my previous PR by five minutes. And, I qualified for the Boston Marathon for the first time.

  4. How would you describe the course?

    Nearly constant gentle downhill grade until the last few miles which were flatter. Stunning scenery.

    John Loftus from Run Your Potential coached me. The personalized running schedule he created incorporating speed work in long runs, downhill practice and strength training put me in my best

  6. What advice would you give future runners?

    Mountain View Bistro and Pasta Idea were two good, reasonably-priced restaurants in the area.

  7. What fun things did you do in the area before or after the race?

    I drove from Orange County, Ca. It was a quick trip for us this time.
